What is Guardian Art?
Guardian Art is a new age self-defense philosophy for the 21st century and it is an evolution that has broken away from the Martial Arts, because it does not have military origins nor does it share any martial philosophies. A Guardian’s goal is not of performance, fighting in the ring, nor receiving a black belt. The purpose of a Guardian is to help improve the conditions of life in all aspects - for oneself, one’s family, one’s groups, mankind, other life forms, and the planet. Guardian Art is designed so that an individual can recover the natural powers and freedoms that every person inherently has.
Within our beginning programs, there are services that teach the laws of fighting, learning, body control, communication, and ethical decision making. If these services are unheard of to you…that’s expected. No one else has ever made these services available together before.
What kind of Martial Arts are taught?
None. Though students learn how to punch, kick and grapple, we do not teach any styles of Martial Arts. Contrary to popular belief, Martial Arts does not mean Self-Defense nor does it mean learning how to fight.
For example, if a person with no Martial Arts experience defends himself while being attacked, would that person now suddenly become a Martial Artist? No. He’s just doing Self-Defense.
Or, let’s say that same person learns how to fight on the streets, would that mean he has learned Martial Arts? No. He has just learned how to fight.
Self-Defense means protecting yourself or another and fighting means to put forth determined effort, whereas Martial Arts is a collection of ancient and modern tools developed from warfare.
Guardian Art is not developed from warfare nor used for warfare, and therefore, cannot be considered a Martial Art or a part of the Martial Arts.
